THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO: (I) RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF SPECIFIC POPULATION GROUPS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF MARIN, AND BEYOND; (II) PROVIDE FUNDING TO MITIGATE LOSS AND THE EFFECTS OF FIRES WITHIN THE COUNTY OF MARIN, AND BEYOND; (III) FUND PROGRAMS WHICH SUPPORT AND PRESERVE FIREFIGHTING CAPABILITIES WITHIN THE COUNTY OF MARIN, AND BEYOND; AND (IV) SOLICIT FUNDING THROUGH GRANTS, BEQUESTS, AND OTHER FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES THAT ARE DEEMED APPROPRIATE TO THE MISSION OF THIS PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION AS FURTHER SET FORTH IN ITS BYLAWS.
