THE SCOTTSDALE SEA & SKI CLUB IS AN ADULT SOCIAL CLUB. FUNDS ARE COLLECTED ON A PER PARTICIPANT BASIS FOR CLUB SPONSORED ACTIVITIES AND TRIPS WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMINGLING AND SOCIALIZING OF MEMBERS. DUES ARE COLLECTED ON A PER MEMBER ANNUAL BASIS TO HELP DEFRAY THE COST OF MONTHLY MEETINGS AND A CLUB NEWSLETTER WHICH INFORMS MEMBERS OF UPCOMING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. ANNUAL ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF SEVERAL WATER SKI TRIPS, RAFTING TRIPS, HIKES, SNOW SKI TRIPS, SOCIAL GATHERINGS, BANQUET, PARADE, ETC. ALL EVENTS ARE OF A NATURE TO PROMOTE THE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION. TOTAL MEMBERSHIP IS APPROXIMATELY 184 MEMBERS. DIFFERENT MEMBERS AND NUMBERS OF MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES.

OPERATE A SHOOTING RANGE FOR THE ARIZONA GAME & FISH DEPARTMENT FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES IN NORTHERN ARIZONA.

SSA IS A UNITED STATES SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING PROGRAM OPEN TO ALL SWIMMERS AGES 6 THROUGH 21. SSA IS A NON-PROFIT CLUB. NO SWIMMER WILL BE TURNED AWAY OR WITHDRAWN FROM THE CLUB IF THE FAMILY IS UNABLE TO PAY DUES.
