APPROXIMATELY 28 STUDENTS PER DAY ARE SERVED FROM SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY EACH YEAR. THE PROGRAM CONSISTS OF ACADEMICS (LANGUAGE ARTS, AND MATHEMATICS) TO CONTINUALLY REINFORCE SKILLS ON INDIVIDUAL LEVELS; SELF HELP (USE OF CALCULATORS, TELEPHONE SKILLS, PERSONAL HYGIENE AND HOUSEHOLD CHORES) TO AID IN INDEPENDENT LIVING; SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL (ETIQUETTE, MANNERS, PERSONAL FEELINGS, AND EMOTIONS - TO TEASH CORRECT BEHAVIOR AND HOW TO RECOGNIZE DIFFERENT FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS IN BOTH THEMSELVES AND OTHERS AND HOW TO INTERACT WITH THOSE AROUND THEM); PHYSICAL FITNESS & EXERCISE (TO ENCOURGAGE GOOD PHYSICAL HEALTH AND SPORTS COMPETITION); MUSIC AND ARTS/CRAFTS (FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES).
