MISSION:

TO PROMOTE AND FOSTER THE ENFORCEMENT OF LAW AND ORDER; TO ENCOURAGE FRATERNAL, EDUCATIONAL, CHARITABLE AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AMONG LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS; TO SUPPORT THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE STANDARD OF LIVING AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSION; TO CULTIVATE A SPIRIT OF FRATERNALISM AND MUTUAL HELPFULNESS AMONG OUR MEMBERS AND THE PEOPLE WE SERVE; TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSION AND THUS MORE FIRMLY TO ESTABLISH THE CONFIDENCE OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SERVICE DEDICATED TO THE PROTECTION OF LIFE AND PROPERTY.

PROVIDE GRANTS TO ALLOW ELDERLY OR DISABLED MEMBERS TO RESIDE IN THEIR OWN HOME. PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS. MAINTAIN ODD FELLOWS CEMETERY.

TO HELP MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE BY AIDING EACH OTHER, THE COMMUNITY, THE LESS FORTUNATE, THE YOUTH, THE ELDERLY, THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE COMMUNITY IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. TO PROMOTE GOOD WILL AND HARMONY AMONGST PEOPLES AND NATIONS THROUGH THE PRINCIPLE OF UNIVERSAL FRATERNITY, HOLDING THE BELIEF THAT ALL MEN AND WOMEN REGARDLESS OF RACE, NATIONALITY, RELIGION, SOCIAL STATUS, GENDER, RANK AND STATION ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

THE INDEPENDENT ORDER OF FORESTERS (FORESTERS) IS A FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETY THAT PROVIDES FINANCIAL SERVICES PRODUCTS AND UNIQUE BENEFITS TO ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THROUGH ITS MEMBER-GOVERNED BRANCH NETWORK, FORESTERS MEMBERS ARE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES TO ORGANIZE AND PARTICIPATE IN LOCAL VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES AND FUN MEMBER EVENTS. WITHIN THIS MODEL OF COMMUNITY SERVICE, FORESTERS LIVES ITS PURPOSE OF ENHANCING THE WELL-BEING OF ITS MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES. THE GRANTING PROGRAM IN 2022 SAW AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF MEMBER ENGAGEMENT ACROSS THE ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP BASE, AND ACROSS ALL THREE REGIONS IN THE U.S. IN PARTICULAR, THE 2022 PROGRAM YEAR GRANTED $1,836,174 TO LOCAL VOLUNTEER, FUN FAMILY ACTIVITIES, FORESTERS CARE AND BRANCH MATCHING AND FRATERNAL FUNDING PROGRAMS. A TOTAL OF 1,562 ACTIVITIES WERE HELD ACROSS THE U.S., ENGAGING 19,100 MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN DELIVERING FORESTERS PURPOSE.
