MISSION:

MONTANA SCHOOL SERVICES FOUNDATION (MSSF) WAS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF MONTANA AND TO PROMOTE AND FULFILL OTHER EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THESE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT A LOWER COST THAN IF PURCHASED THROUGH THE PRIVATE SECTOR FOR SIMILAR SERVICES, THEREBY REDUCING THE BURDENS ON LOCAL SCHOOL BOARDS, THUS BENEFITING MONTANA COMMUNITIES AND MONTANA TAXPAYERS AT LARGE.

A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT HAS BEEN IN OPERATION FOR 30-PLUS YEARS AND PROVIDES FOR EMERGENCY NEEDS IN THE COMMUNITY. NOW SERVING FIVE COUNTIES IN ARKANSAS AND TWO IN OKLAHOMA, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SERVICES FOR WORKING FAMILIES, FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN, ELDERLY AND DISABLED WITH UTILITY BILLS, MEDICATION AND OTHER NEEDS ON AN EMERGENCY BASIS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS A FOOD PANTRY OF BOTH PERISHABLE AND FRESH/FROZEN FOODS FOR THE SAME POPULATION.

THE BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS OF THE USA WILL SERVE THE PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH BENEVOLENT PROGRAMS DEMONSTRATING THAT ELKS CARE AND ELKS SHARE
