MISSION:

EXEMPT PURPOSE ACHIEVEMENTS WERE ACCOMPLISHED BY SERVING THE COMMUNITY AND ITS MEMBERS. THE ELKS LODGE CONTRIBUTES TO THE ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION, AS WELL AS THE MAJOR PROJETS PROGRAM WHICH FUNDS THERAPISTS AND PRESCHOOL VISION SCREENERS TO ASSIST DISABLED CHILDREN.

THE PURPOSE OF THE CHARITY IS TO SUPPORT CAUSES RELATED TO CHILDREN. THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING VEHICLES AND OTHER TYPES OF SUPPORT TO OTHER ORGANIZATION WHICH PROVIDE DIRECT BENEFITS TO CHILDREN.

CLAIR, WALKER, BLOUNT, AND CHILTON); CALHOUN COUNTY, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, WEST ALABAMA (TUSCALOOSA, BIBB, FAYETTE, LAMAR, MARENGO, SUMTER, PICKENS, HALE, AND GREEN); EASTERN ALABAMA (RUSSELL AND LEE COUNTIES); AND, THE CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER REGION FOR COLUMBUS, GA, BY EMPLOYING ALL OF THE RESOURCES IN THE AREA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RESOURCES AVAILABLE FROM PRIVATE CHARITABLE SOURCES AND FROM LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS TO ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTHY COMMUNITIES AND LIFESTYLES, THEREBY, PREVENTING VIOLENCE AND OTHER AT-RISK BEHAVIORS THAT LEAD TO UNEMPLOYMENT, DISEASE, INCARCERATION AND RE-INCARCERATION, PREMATURE DEATH AND GENERATIONAL CYCLES OF POVERTY AND ECONOMIC EXCLUSION.
