TO INCULCATE THE PRINCIPLES OF CHARITY, JUSTICE, BROTHERLY LOVE AND FIDELITY ; TO RECOGNIZE A BELIEF IN GOD; TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE AND ENHANCE THE HAPPINESS OF ITSMEMBERS; TO QUICKEN THE SPIRIT OF AMERICAN PATRIOTISM; TO CULTIVATE GOOD FELLOWSHIP; TO PERPETUATE ITSELF AS A FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION, AND TO PROVIDE FOR ITS GOVERNMENT, THE BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL SERVE THE PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH BENEVOLENT PROGRAMS, DEMONSTRATING THAT ELKS CARE AND ELKS SHARE.

FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 200 MEMBERS.

MISSION:

A LOCAL CIVIC ORGANIZATION THAT IS PART OF LIONS INTERNATIONAL THAT SERVES THE COMMUNITY BEGINNING WITH THE FOUR INITIATIVES: LCIF, GA CAMP FOR THE BLIND, LEADER DOG AND THE LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION. WE ALSO SPONSOR MANY OTHER PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY. LIONS CLUBS ARE AN ACTIVE PART OF THE COMMUNITY BY ASSISTING THOSE WHO ARE SIGHT CHALLENGED OR BLIND. WE REFURBISH EYEGLASSES AND HEARING AIDS, HELP WITH COSTS OF GLASSES AND EYE EXAMS, SPONSOR LOCAL PROGRAMS. WE ARE A PART OF A WORLDWIDE ORGANIZATION THAT HELPS MEET THE NEEDS IN THE COMMUNITY.
