MACATAWA BAY YACHT CLUB WAS FOUNDED TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE YACHTING AND OTHER AQUATIC SPORTS, AND TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES, SERVICES, AND FACILITIES THAT ARE USEFUL AND DESIRABLE TO MEMBERS AS WELL AS DEVELOPING COMMUNITY SPIRIT, GOODWILL, AND FRIENDSHIP AMONG THE MEMBERS.

THE CLUB PROVIDES ROWING AND SQUASH ACTIVITIES TO ITS MEMBERS.

TO PROVIDE FOR RELIGIOUS OUTREACH AND LOW COST RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES FOR SEAMEN IN THE HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL, PORT OF HOUSTON REGION. SEVEN FULL TIME CHAPLAINS VISIT SHIPS OVER 200 MILES OF DOCK. CHURCHES AND OTHER COMMUNITY GROUPS DONATE CLOTHING AND READING MATERIAL GIVEN AT NO CHARGE.

TO ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION TEAM AT EVERY HIGH SCHOOL IN MICHIGAN. TO FOSTER EARLY INTEREST IN FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITIONS THROUGH FIRST LEGO LEAGUE AND FIRST TECH CHALLENGE IN LATE ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOLS.
