HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WASHINGTON COUNTY (HFHWC) IS A NONPROFIT, ECUMENICAL CHRISTIAN HOUSING ORGANIZATION FROM ALL FAITHS AND TRADITIONS. OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE SIMPLE, DECENT, AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THOSE IN NEED IN OUR COUNTY. HFHWC SEEKS TO ELIMINATE POVERTY AND SUBSTANDARD HOUSING, INCREASE AFFORDABLE HOUSING, AND MAKE DECENT SHELTER A MATTER OF CONSCIENCE AND ACTION.

PROVIDE LOW-INCOME HOUSING AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AT AN APARTMENT PROJECT CONSISTING OF 248 UNITS LOCATED IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.

BUILDING SUPPORT SERVICES WITH COMMUNITIES WHICH STRENGTHEN AND EMPOWER SOCIO DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES ELDERLY PERSONS AND HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS.

TO OPERATE A FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM PRIMARILY FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.

PROVIDES HOUSING TO LOW INCOME ELDERLY AND DISABLED PERSONS UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT UNDER AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HUD.

TO ELIMINATE POVERTY HOUSING IN THE THREE COUNTIES SERVED: CASS, HUBBARD, AND CROW WING, AND THE CITY OF STAPLES.
