BLUE RIVER, INC. WAS ORGANIZED AS AN INDIANA NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION TO OWN AND OPERATE TWO APARTMENT PROJECTS FOR LOW-INCOME SENIOR CITIZENS IN COLUMBIA CITY, INDIANA. PHASE I HAS 10 UNITS AND PHASE II HAS 30 UNITS. THE CORPORATION'S MORTGAGE LOANS WERE PROVIDED THROUGH THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT, DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, UNDER SECTION 515 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949. IN ADDITION, THE CORPORATION HAS ALSO ENTERED INTO A HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT CONTRACT WITH HUD. THE HAP CONTRACT IS A RENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES OR PERSONS AS PROVIDED BY THE SECTION 8 PROGRAM OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT.

OUR MISSION IS TO PROMOTE RESTORATION AND STEWARDSHIP OF A HEALTHY JOHNSON CREEK WATERSHED THROUGH SOUND SCIENCE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.

THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY BIRD OBSERVATORY USES SCIENCE TO CONSERVE BIRDS AND HABITATS. OUR AVIAN MONITORING AND HABITAT RESTORATION ACTIVITIES PROVIDE CRITICAL DATA THAT WE USE TO EDUCATE LAND MANAGERS AND THE PUBLIC, AND CONTRIBUTE TO INFORMED CONSERVATION DECISIONS.

NYSFOLA IS A NON-PROFIT GROUP OF LAKE ASSOCIATIONS, INDIVIDUAL CITIZENS, PARK DISTRICTS, LAKE MANAGERS, ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND CONSULTANTS DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF NYS LAKES AND WATERSHEDS.

WORKING TO RESTORE, PROTECT AND SUSTAIN THE ROOT-PIKE BASIN WATERSHEDS THROUGH THE FUNDING AND FACILITATION OF A REGIONAL NETWORK OF LOCALLY INITIATED PROJECTS.
